The Bob Hope Xmas Classic

A quick post cos I'm off to play golf with my friends. More precisely, I'm off to play about three good shots in 9 holes of golf, get increasingly frustrated by it and come home cold and humiliated. But its all fun, right? Like everyone who plays this stupid game, some days I'm good and some days I'm sucky. Ever get the feeling that this might be one of those sucky days. My friend is an hour late to pick me up, so my mood is turning south already. As long as I beat him then I can rest easy.

Today is the last working day before Xmas, so all the pubs in town will be jammed tonight. Still more people means more women, well that's the way I'm looking at it. Desperation is a terrible thing. Having Xmas on a Monday, is really cool, means I have an excuse to go drinking Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. This, as I'm sure you're aware, is going to be a real hardship for me, no seriously. Bring on the Guinness, that's all I can say. Christmas is a wonderful time of year.

Will have to wrap my presents soon, probably tomorrow, depending on the state of my hangover. Books, DVD's and a food hamper are what will be given out this year. Barring any mishaps, like my dog eating what's going in to the hamper before I have a chance to wrap it.

New Housemate got himself a job yesterday, which is good news. Still waiting on a call from the company I did an interview for last week, but considering it took 6 months for them to get back to me after I applied I'm not holding my breath.

Right I'm off to play zen golf (I try to practice meditation while I play, means I don't break my clubs in frustration when I hit a bad shot, it works sometimes)
